Nothing to do but try to publicize it

In case anyone who reads this doesn't read Glenn Greenwald (and I understand if you've been lagging, he's been boorish of late), please go do so.
Now, please.

Protesters here in Minneapolis have been targeted by a series of highly intimidating, sweeping police raids across the city, involving teams of 25-30 officers in riot gear, with semi-automatic weapons drawn, entering homes of those suspected of planning protests, handcuffing and forcing them to lay on the floor, while law enforcement officers searched the homes, seizing computers, journals, and political pamphlets. Last night, members of the St. Paul police department and the Ramsey County sheriff's department handcuffed, photographed and detained dozens of people meeting at a public venue to plan a demonstration, charging them with no crime other than "fire code violations," and early this morning, the Sheriff's department sent teams of officers into at least four Minneapolis area homes where suspected protesters were staying.
And it gets worse, read GG's other stories on the topic and the links.
And tell other people, too. Whoever will listen. Apparently the press doesn't find this story to be important.

Boorish? How so?

He's always a bit long winded, and he just covers different instances of the same thing. I think he meant to say boring.

I agree. The Minneapolis shit is just insane.

Nah, I meant boorish.
GG is brilliant, a better writer, blogger, and probably person than me, but sometimes lately he's been getting caught up in preaching to the chorus and feeling self-righteous instead of playin the cool, controlled trial lawyer. I have his books n been reading him since long before Salon got him, but the post Obama-FISA cave-in has not been his most fertile period.
