I hope I can say this without bringing down the wrath of the environmentalists on my head, but you have to admit, it's kind of funny that Al Gore's speeches and summits like Copenhagen seem to have an unfortunate tendency to be beset by cold snaps and blizzards. Obviously, not totally surprising in Denmark, and no bearing on the arguments for or against climate change. Just a little amusing, that's all.I would find it much more amusing if Megan McArdle died of a treatable disease due to lack of health insurance. I think that we'd all laugh long and hard. Ha ha. Ho ho. He he.

God, what an idiot. Even if she were the first idiot to make this idiotic observation, it would still be too stoopid for words. She's the biggest idiot of all for thinking that she's somehow saying something that right wing retards haven't been spitting milk out their noses about for years now.

It would be even funnier if she refused to go to the doctor because she didn't want to take advantage of her employer's generosity in providing health care. Unfortunately she's a hypocondriac, so that won't happen.
