More Megan On Mortgages: "Jerks"

They mis-spell her name.

Heh heh. As Yahoo! won't let me embed the video (Yes, it's important to see these people as they blather.) you'll want (Sure you will!) to go right over there to see & hear.
Hey, waitaminnit!. "Nobody" doesn't conform to The Narrative of Barney Frank, the homosexual Jew, sending his ACORN & SEIU "thugs" to force banks to lend to colored people!! I demand a recount or something!

I hate to be lookist, but what the fuck did she use to dry her hair? A fucking clothes dryer? You'd think after the lady bug incident she'd start remembering to see what her head looks like before she throws it in front of a camera.

Knowing it might come up in commenting (Yeah, sure.) I considered mentioning that this do was at least an improvement on the ladybug. Improvement or not, no woman (or man) over, say, "Girls Gone Wild" age should be on video continually pushing their hair from their face.

McArdle's biggest asset--by far--is that she's a woman. It is stupid beyond measure to not look media-ready when your job is to be the face of destruction capitalism.

Is there a link to the lady bug incident?

Well, not much of an "incident," but I think I have a copy around here somewhere. Lessee in these folders ... Lame-Asses, Losers, Miscellania, MMcA, open that up ... there it is!

Just a headband that looked like a ladybug on her head. Commenter "Retardo" remarked on it here, via the crummy search function.

Really mentioned here, which leads to Edroso, who has a link if you are such a masochist that you must see Megan in motion.

P. S.: If I didn't know you had a job (Poor bastard.) I wouldn't have done all this, but my time being free ...

Advice to the Obama Administration.

From PeeJays TV and a giant ladybug.

Nifty!

"If everyone entered into a mortgage with a secret plan to walk away if the house value falls, Congress would write new laws allowing mortgage-lenders to go after borrowers' other assets (which already exist in some states). This would make borrowing money harder and more expensive for everyone."

How can anyone be this stupid? Banks would still lend money, but they'd ask for a bigger down payment so buyers had more skin in the game. Problem solved.

Congratulations, Megan- you know less about economics and banking than I do. That's some trick.

Megan sure is obsessed with the subject of credit and loans. I'm a pretty simple person without kids and such, so for me, the only thing that makes good credit useful is the possibility of living beyond my means, which I've always thought was kind of stupid.

One of the things that really bugs me about these little appearances she makes is that you can see how she barely wants to listen to the hosts and other guests. She's smugly waiting for them to shut up so that she can tell them how wrong they are.

And the whole "banks don't know who you are!" line of BS is ridiculous. There were cases where mortgages were offered to people who didn't undergo so much as a simple credit check. As usual, the world is black and white for Megan and if anyone points out the grey, she simply brushes them off by saying "I'm not talking about those people."

At any rate, I'm pretty sure she's constantly pushing this "you must pay back your mortgage as a moral duty" line over and over again as an audition to get a loan of her own.

Countrywide was the worst. Bank of America will be cleaning up their garbage & paying off fraud claims for the next 10 years.

I'm a guessing McMegan has never looked into what B of A was promised for taking on that pile of crap.

I hate to be lookist too, but Christ does she look like warmed-over garbage.

She looks like Tom Hulce auditioning to play Janis Joplin. Can everyone stop saying she's attractive now? It's like when lefty bloggers make the concession that she's smart, before they highlight some of her stupid. No, she's not smart and she's not attractive. So why does everyone keep saying that she is? She's tall. And that's the best thing we can say about her.

For the record, I have never described Megan McArdle as smart.

I don't think she's necessarily unattractive. She's no stunner, but hardly ugly. Then again, I am a straight female, so what do I know about these things?

Susan of Texas said...

She needs to cut the hair to chin length and tame the curls. And to use a mirror when she parts her hair. Also, lipstick. And why does her shirt match her skin?

I thought conservatives were supposed to be the glamour babes, while the left was unkept and Bohemian. If you put McArdle in a mink coat she'd look like she was being strangled by it, and losing the struggle.

Everything Susan of Texas said, on stilts, in spades, with extra-crunchy. Presumably Megs downplays her looks to defer to her mind (sic). It's an admirable but self-defeating strategery.

As such, she'll be a sitting duck for the next generation of hard-charging, nothing-knowin' econobloggerettes who will have it, flaunt it, and tart it up for the punters. Something else for MM to feel sorry for herself over.

Her looks are just another thing about which she's incompetent. It's a long list
