I just got off the phone with a sales rep from the Atlantic who wanted me to subscribe (I had a subscription a couple years ago). When I said I couldn't support a magazine that actually paid McArdle for her idiocy, she said she'd been hearing that a lot lately, wished me a good day, and signed off.

Hey brad, I think your next poll question should be which one of the contributors here is the biggest misogynist.
Maybe Megan would even vote.
I can't afford to be msogynistic. Not that I would be.
And was there not a comment a few items back that gave us all a free pass as long as we didn't use terms like "sweetie," "girlie," "chickie-poo," etc.?
It'd be misogynistic not to judge McMegan by the same high standards to which we hold all others, female, male & indetereminate.
But that poll question would be a good idea for free democratic expression. Would the winner get a prize?
