A question for our reader(s)

Should I put up a new poll when this one expires?

Yes. And really, beyond the snark factor in cataloging her craziness and ineptitude, how can this forum be put to direct action to get her fired?

Poll Question: Who should be beaten to death with Glenn Reynolds' corpse?

I've been wondering this too. I suspect it would be pretty difficult, since it's clear she didn't get the job because she knows anything about writing or economics. That leaves personal connections, and it's tough for a bunch of pseudonymous outsiders to strain those to the point where Megan's job would be in jeopardy.

But hey, I'm open to suggestions.

I doubt there's much, if anything, we can do. If you have a subscription, cancel it and let them know Megan is why.
Otherwise, maybe a letter to the editor, letters@theatlantic.com, taking issue with a particularly bad column.
Realistically, tho, I wouldn't expect this site to go out of business anytime soon. If they didn't fire her for that Jena 6 article, it's gonna take her shouting "n----r" in a crowded theater or summin.

However, someone at The Atlantic is reading us regularly, and there's a ton of people in DC doing so, too. If we can provide some solace to distraught to those who thought they were going to work for the old Atlantic, then that's something, I suppose.

Do you think the Atlantic reader is Megan?

Who knows? I'd guess no, but there are simply a TON of DC area hits. The clique stays aware of us, at least, I suspect.
Ton in the sense of half a dozen to a dozen regularly.

All the hits from Washington on my other web log come from various ".mil" sites, the U. S. Congress, & law firms. The identifiable ones anyway.

Well, we got the pentagon and, oddly, several hits from the census bureau, but the DC hits are mostly verizon n the like.
