Megan proved, once again, that she reads us. I'll respond to her totally not in response to me posts sometime tonight, perhaps late. I have a presentation to give in a couple hours and I'm only finishing my script for it now. Reality must always be prioritized, especially when I put it off till the last minute.
In my defense, it's for a class I'm unofficially auditing, with a prof I've had many, many classes with, and it's on Nietzsche and an essay I've read several dozen times. Not exactly a high pressure situation, tho I really should shut up here and get it done.

Would it be gauche of me to point out that she *still* hasn't updated her "gadget of the week" blurb even once? Hell, it still includes the infamous spelling error ("Dalmation").
I know it has nothing to do with anything, but if you're putting up placeholder posts, I will post placeholder comments.
This is not worthy of displacing my awesome post today. I hates you brad.
Spencer,
Same with "comment of the week." She doesn't update that weekly, either. Why doesn't she just get rid of those features instead of letting them dangle there neglected?
Oh, Spencer, I was going to get around to that in a few more wks. It's been a short six months since she started to destroy The Atlantic, but she hasn't changed the gadget/object once, has she?
Of the gadget I am not sure, but she did change the comment of the week at least once. It was almost immediately after I pointed out that she had left the comment up for, well, months. And pointed out that the comment was racist drivel. So that sort of ties the placeholder back onto the original post topic; she reads FMM.
I just wish she'd change it or take it down because that "It's a Dalmation, and it's also a delicious breakfast drink!" "joke" is painfully NOT FUNNY.
Can you point to one of Megan's jokes that actually was funny?
They *all* fall flat. Every. Single. One.
