Megan has simple and stupid down COLD. Today's recipe; tomato sauce.
The Atlantic, from Twain to tomato sauce in one Republican abduction.
YUM!
On an on related note; does anyone have the skinny on Ross-D removing the ability to comment from his blog? It just disappeared a little while ago and I couldn't find any post explaining why.

And she puts both onions and garlic in it, adds tomato paste and uses a food processor / blender. So wrong, on so many levels...
Wow. She's actually progressed to the second week of a seventh grade foods class. I dare say our lady is becoming sophisticated.
"It has come to my attention that many people are buying tomato sauce in jars."
Just now? How has she managed to miss the Prego-to-Newman's Own aisle in groceries stores until recently? Here's the thing, Megan. Bottled tomato sauce is cheap, quick, filling, and doesn't taste half-bad. If you're poor, or maybe somebody who is dead tired after a long day of work that doesn't want to spend an hour waiting for dinner, it's an acceptable substitute for your ridiculously simple, bland recipe.
I may not be up on blogosphere conventions, but I thought a title like "Tuesday Recipe Blogging" indicates that the blogger writes about recipes on (most) Tuesdays, and does not recipe blog on other days of the week. Megan has "Monday recipe blogging", "Sunday recipe blogging", and her recipes are no where near a weekly feature.
Like her gadget of the week. You clearly don't understand the typical conventions don't apply to our lady.
When you are Megan McArdle, time* has no meaning.
