You don't even want to know...

how many times the phrase "robot overlords" shows up in a search of MM's archived drivel.

Well, you might, but I'll be fucked if I'm gonna count that shit.

You don't have to count it. When you do a search, it tells you at the top. It's "around 41 times." I'm betting if you do a search for "Department of" you'll make the Atlantic's server explode.

I am sooooooooo goddamned tired of people like her and the Doughy Pantload recycling jokes from The Simpsons and thinking it makes them witty and hip. Note to both of you morons: It doesn't.

Spencer,
The same goes for Monty Python. If I see one more blogger use the title "And Now For Something Completely Different" and think that's clever, I'm going to scream. Dead parrots, world's funniest joke, People's Judean Front...we get it. You've seen the same movies and episodes a billion others know by heart.

anony, but a lot of the results show up more than once, so you have to filter those out.

Actually, the Monty Python bits are even more embarrassing, simply because they are so freaking old. Come on - I loved 'em too, but at some point you just have to face up to the fact that it doesn't make you cool to have written down all the insults that French knight was spewing at King Arthur.
